Sweet Little Cupcake

She's back. My sweet little granddaughter was away on her very first "vacation". She has posted some cute pictures on her blog.

While she was away she wore one of the little cupcake hats I have made.

Apparently it was a big hit with people waiting in the long ferry lines. Even the little children recognized it as a "cupcake".

Yes Minnie, you caught me! I do like to "recycle" old projects for new blog posts when I get a chance. Heh.

Darling little hat on a darling little head! I have the pattern, but sadly have a granddaughter who lives in hot, humid Orlando. I've got to convince them to move back to Washington.

Well Lilly's mom, you could always make a little viking hat if the babies turn out to be boys. There is this one:

And here is another, this time free, and by the woman who designed the cupcake hat:

Oh how totaly adorable!!! Baby and cupcake hat...smile. I know something of how much you love her because of how much we are in love with our 3 year old grandson...who asked us when we were leaving for home...are you going? we said yes, and he hid his face in Mommy's shoulder and puckered up..with "but I'll miss you". They are so sweet...like no other thing in life.
